      The International Interdisciplinary Workshop "FACTOR OF SCALE IN COMPLEX NETWORKS ( FASCACON ‘2020 )"  aims to bring together researchers from different scientific and expert communities working on areas related to network science. Additional interest in the event is motivated by transdisciplinary nature of the expected contributions: among the invited speakers are such famous names as Winn Schwartau and Rafael Capurro. The workshop highlights significance of theoretical works arising from practical problems, and case studies where good methodologies are applied. In general the announced event is focusing on thorough information sharing between theoreticians and practitioners from diverse domains and countries to stimulate their collaborations. The workshop is envisaged to provide a high-level international forum for scientists, engineers, and educators and deliver them deeper understanding in the state of the art and perspectives of research and applications in network science and its specific segment – scale-dependent processes and objects.

      The scientific topics of the workshop include (but are not limited to) the following fundamental problems:

       

      - Global and local communities;

      - Scales for Multiplexes;

      - Intermediate-scale (meso-scale) Network features;

      - Large Scale (global or gestalt) Networks;

      -Temporal and spatial networks of multiple scales;

      - “Networkalization” scales of Time and Spatial Data;

      - Network modeling and analysis across scales;

      - Network dynamic changes on multiple time scales;

      -Scale-Dependent Resilience and Robustness

    • Abstract Submission

      Organizers of the workshop welcome outline submissions written in English language that are closely related to the topics specified in General Information.

      • Abstract should not exceed 1000 words and it must clearly indicate the problem, objectives, research methods, results and conclusions.
      • Please take note that only abstracts sent by email will be considered.
      • Submitted abstracts must not contain graphics and tables.
      • Authors are also advised to proofread their abstracts because abstracts will be reproduced from the e-mail submission. Any error in spelling, grammar or data will appear further online or in print.
      • Authors of the submitted abstracts for presentation must also make separate registration for the workshop by filling in the Registration Form.
